Offida DOCG Passerina – 2018
Straw yellow with a greenish wink.
The aromatic notes are intense and immediate, yellow plum and abbot pear stand out. This is followed by sweet and persuasive notes balanced by slightly acidic hints of lime, elder and hawthorn, only in the finish it fades slightly on the mineral to which a pleasant note of star anise is added.
At the sip it is direct and pleasant with good personality and aromatic complexity, it is well balanced between freshness and flavor, in the center of the mouth a pleasant softness opens up, always supported by a persistent freshness. In the finish, a slight balsamic and aniseed note returns to peek.
