The Recchi Franceschini winery was founded in 2009 with a very specific intent: to enhance the territory and its vines to obtain identity wines with a long aging potential.
From the cultural experience, acquired during the years in which the family collaborated with the Cantina sociale di Castignano, the desire was born to take a new, independent path to communicate the personal interpretation of the Territory with their own bottles, produced from the best grapes. Right from the start we decided to conduct the work in the vineyards with a sustainable approach, which went beyond the organic certification recognized to us, because this is what we believe in and what we believe is best for the health of our Territory and of all of us. We defend our vineyards only through treatments of mineral origin (Copper and Sulfur) and we adopt alternating spontaneous grassing. On the non-grassy rows we carry out soil work to promote oxygenation and stimulate the formation of organic matter, or even sowing herbs suitable for green manuring or intercropping. When necessary we carry out organic fertilization with manure and brown algae.
In compliance with the principles of sustainability, also for our Agriturismo we aim to make the lowest environmental impact with the maximum possible self-sufficiency by exploiting our greatest wealth: the light, which kisses our hills, feeding our plants, as well as our solar panels. , and the water, our Blue Gold, which we collect from the rains to irrigate and take from the well to quench our thirst.
