Petraiae
Offida DOCG Pecorino – 2018
Intense, brilliant and very bright gold.
Very broad and complex nose, lavender, broom and hints of white musk. Beeswax and mineral scents are followed by elegant notes of aromatic herbs and in the background you can see turmeric and sprinkles of nutmeg.
In the mouth, after an initial freshness, a decisive and intriguing flavor opens up which bursts out and accompanies the whole drink. The frequent floral and mineral aftertaste references embellish the aromatic outfit while always remaining in balance between acidity and flavor. The closure leads back to hints of sage and fresh hazelnut.
